Never Forget Tribute & Youth Art Exhibit

In remembrance of Sept. 11, 2001, Sacramento Community Outreach will present the Never Forget Tribute, which features a 3,000-piece American flag display and a special exhibit featuring artwork by local students.

SEPT. 9: FLAG-PLACING

Sacramento area residents and organizations are invited to participate in the installation of the 3,000-piece Never Forget Flag Display at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 in Sacramento Memorial Lawn. Each flag is placed in honor of a civilian, emergency responder or military member who lost their life on Sept. 11, 2001. The Never Forget Flag Display will stand throughout the month. MORE INFO

SEPT 11: PROGRAM & YOUTH ART EXHIBIT

We invite all in the community to join us at 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11, 2017 in the chapel of Sacramento Memorial Lawn for a special ceremony to honor and remember the victims and heroes of 9/11. After the program, we will announce the winners of our Youth Art Contest and host an appetizer reception. This evening will be a family-friendly and free event open to the public.

We welcome and encourage all visitors & participants to share photos of our Never Forget Tribute on Facebook using #SacramentoNeverForgets.
