Obituary of Nou Phonesavanh Thephalam

Nou deeply and passionately loved her family and friends, and always put their needs before her own. She loved being with people and shared her zest for life with family and friends at many social gatherings. Nou loved singing, dancing and taking long adventurous walks around the city, and often enjoyed finding new ways to get to Thunder Valley. Her way of life followed her faith in Buddhism. An example of selflessness was always on display for her children to follow. She was committed to helping the Laotian community by offering her time and gifts to Buddha at the temples. Nou’s family and friends looked up to her for compassion and strength, which they could always rest on having.Nou is survived by her children, Khamchanh Themphalam (Nicole) and her children Samantha Phonesavanh, Jonathan Phonesavanh, Kenneth Sisaketh and Jordan Sisaketh plus her great grandchild Alivia Thich; Mindy and her husband Allan Mace and their children, Alina and her husband Zachary Buskey, David Mace and Liya Mace; Khamphanh Phonesavanh (La); Lani and her husband Bouasone Phanvilay and their children, Jocelyn Phonesavanh, Jacob Phonesavanh, Tiana Chann, Malina Yang, Vue Yang Jr and Mya Phanvilay plus her great grandchildren, Dylan Saechao and Carter Le; Sinthanou Phonesavanh (Tom) and his wife, Samly Kittivaphanh and their children, Theodore Saeyang, Pebbles Phun, Romeo Phonesavanh, Alex Kittivanphanh, Aaron Kittivanphanh, Dominic Kittivaphanh, Cubic Kittivaphanh, Isabella Phonesavanh and Mason Phonesavanh.
