Shirley Anderson was born in Linton, Emmons County, North Dakota and died at the age of 96 in Sacramento, California.  She was the youngest child born to John Bartu and Effie Heath and joined five brothers and one sister, all pre-deceased.  

Shirley was married to Harold Anderson for 36 years until his untimely passing in 1979.  She always carried a camera and her many pictures taken over the years filled numerous photo albums which were all carefully labeled with names, dates, and places.  She was also an avid crocheter and had a patent for an afghan-style crochet hook. 

Shirley leaves behind to mourn her passing:  a daughter, a grand-daughter, a great-grandson, a niece, three step-children, and three in-laws, plus many extended family members.  She will be greatly missed.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sacramento Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
