Dionicio P. Lopez was born on April 8, 1933, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he was

a loving husband to his wife of 60 years, Maria Luisa Lopez, who proceeded him in

death in 2017. A loving father of 6, grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of 8.

Dionicio passed on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, from Dementia, which he

suffered from for over 10 years. Although recently he had not been himself, our

dad was a funny, warm, loving, and compassionate man. His work ethic was an

example to our family, as he worked for the Railroad for almost four decades.

Dionicio (Nicho) is survived by his children, Antonio (Gale), Arturo (Theresa), Jorge

(Paulette), Michael, Sylvia, and Jose (Lisa), grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He will be truly missed but will go on in our hearts forever.

Friends and family may attend a visitation on August 24, 2023 from 3:00

PM - 6:00 PM at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, 6100 Stockton Blvd.,

Sacramento, CA . The Rosary will be held after the visitation on August 24, 2023, at 6:00 PM. Mass service will be held at St.

Paul’s Catholic Church, 8720 Florin Rd., Sacramento, CA on August 25, 2023, at

10:30 AM, burial service will be at St. Mary Cemetery, 6509 Fruitridge Rd,

Sacramento, CA, and the repass will be held at the VFW, 2784 Stockton Blvd.,

Sacramento, CA.
