Janice, age 83, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2023. She was born in Sacramento, California, to Jacob and Lantina Kershman. In June of 2018, Janice moved to Kingwood, Texas. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Bruce Vernon Yockey in 2011, and her brother Jerry Kerschman (June Kerschman) in 2022 and is survived by daughters Allison Borchardt (Bill Murphy) and Lisa Bradley (Andrew Bradley). Janice is also survived by grandsons Hunter Borchardt (Erica Evans), Jacob Borchardt, and Zachary Borchardt (Jessica Gonzales). 

A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 1:00pm, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 7595 Center Parkway, Sacramento, CA 95823.

Flowers may be sent to St Luke’s Church or if you prefer, a donation in memory of Janice may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
