Charles 'Chuck' Frank Buelow
09/08/1925 - 03/21/2025
World War II and Korean Veteran
Served in the Pacific on the USS Altamaha during WWII, having been torpedoed at
and lost for 3 weeks due to a typhon.
He was a Mason for 50 years.
He worked for the Deparment of General Services, retiring in 1988 as a Telecommunications Supervisor.
Chuck was a beloved family man who had the titles of father, grandfather,
great grandfather, and great, great grandfather.
He enjoyed his family, celebrations and was an active participant as babysitter.
Disney visitor and cruise activities director for both families and friends. Chuck loved to travel.
Chuck experienced the world changing during these last almost 100 years.
He has joined his wife, Jacqueline, who he met in 1940, married in 1945 and passed on01/01/2009.
To all he is now at "the end of the trail"
Military Honors will be held at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, California.
