Martha B. Moore-Thomas was born July 22, 1935, to Amanda Morris, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and 

passed away June 2, 2025 in Sacramento, California.

Martha was a God-Fearing Woman who loved the Lord. She spent many days and nights on her knees 

praying and interceding on her family and loved one's behalf.

She was a member of the Joy of Life Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor Curtis Timmons. 

She was known there as a highly anointed woman of God.

She was blessed to see three generations of her family. She was devoted to her calling of the Lord 

and became an Evangelist performing even greater works tor the Lord.

She was a loving, caring person. Attentive to others and asked little of life for herself. She 

never complained but instead prayed and kept the faith.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Her loving and devoted son Lance R. Moore (Wife-Gredal Gay), 8 Grandchildren, 31 Great-Grandchildren, 12 Great-Great-Grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.

Words could never express how much we are going to miss you, but we find so much joy and peace in 

knowing that you are in perfect peace. The memories of the time that God entrusted us with you, to 

be near you, and to share our lives with you will always be alive in our hearts and minds.
