With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Stella Monarque, age 76, of Sacramento, California. Preceded in death by her father Andres Esoria Pinedo, and her son Andrew Paul Monarque. Survived by her mother MariaGuadalupe Mendoza Gonzalez, her loving sister Asuncion Gale, her brother Vincent Pinedo, Byran Gale, her loving daughter Annette Monarque, her son Danny Monarque, MariaElena Hernandez, Felipe Valverde, Angela Riekert, Jose Hernandez, and six successful adult grandchildren that she was very proud of. Stella Monarque truly loved spending time with her small but very close family, except when they reminded her to “eat her vegetables”. Stella also loved her regular dinner dates with her daughter and her grandchildren. Stella’s daughter and grandchildren intentionally spoiled Stella as though celebrating Stella’s birthday every single time she went out to eat with them. It’s safe to say that her daughter and grandchildren all inherited Stella’s food cravings and love for going out to eat together to spend quality time. Not a day went by that Stella did not treat herself to her “secret” sodas and Hostess desserts that she enjoyed guilt-free and happily! Stella endured many struggles throughout her life but she leaves her family and friends with countless irreplaceable memories of genuine love and laugh-out-loud moments to cherish.

Family and friends are welcome to attend Stella’s funeral mass on July 31, 10:00 AM, at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1066 26th Street, Sacramento, CA.
