Obituary of Rosie Lee Johnson

Rosie Johnson, age 86, of Sacramento, California, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on July 8, 1939, in Alexandria, Louisiana, and devoted her life to spreading the word of God, nurturing her family, and serving others with a heart full of love.

Rosie had a deep passion for cooking, fellowship, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her kind heart, giving spirit, and nurturing soul—qualities that touched everyone blessed to know her. Her home was a place of warmth, faith, and comfort, where love was always in abundance.

She is survived by her children: Michael Belton, Carl Johnson, Allen Johnson, and Roselle Jones, along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom she cherished deeply.

Rosie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Johnson, her daughter Beverly Johnson, her son Kenneth Johnson and grandson Maurice Belton  

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Sacramento Memorial Lawn,

6100 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95824.

Family and friends are welcome to attend and honor the life of a woman who gave so much of herself to others.

Her legacy of love, generosity, and unwavering faith will live on in all who were touched by her presence. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
