In Loving Memory of Dr. Anh Nguyen

July 11, 1941 – September 12, 2025

With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Dr. Anh Nguyen, who departed this life peacefully on September 12, 2025, in Sacramento, California, at the age of 84.

Born on July 11, 1941, in Saigon, Vietnam, Dr. Nguyen dedicated his life to service, healing, and family. A devoted physician, he brought compassion and care to countless lives over the course of his long and respected medical career. Beyond his work, Dr. Nguyen found joy in simple yet meaningful pleasures — nurturing his garden, sharing meals through his love of cooking, and spending time with his cherished family.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lieu Nguyen; his devoted daughters, Chi Nguyen and DanThu Nguyen; and his loving sons-in-law, Tam Nguyen and Anhao Sam. Dr. Nguyen was a proud grandfather to Timothy, Catherine, Drake, and Ronin, who brought light and joy to his later years.

A man of strong Catholic faith, Dr. Nguyen lived with humility, generosity, and grace. His life was a testament to love, resilience, and service, and his legacy will continue in the hearts of those he touched.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, to honor and celebrate his life. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Dr. Nguyen’s memory.
