Tessie Davis, 58, passed away on March 25, 2026. She was born on January 10, 1968, in Sacramento, California, to Marzella Daniels and Raymond Davis Sr.


Tessie was a woman whose presence could light up any room. She was deeply loved by her family and friends, and she cherished every moment spent surrounded by those closest to her. Known for being the life of the party, Tessie brought joy, laughter, and energy wherever she went. She loved to dance and never missed a chance to enjoy herself, creating memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.


To know Tessie was truly to love her. She had a kind and giving spirit and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her generosity and warmth touched many lives.


Above all, Tessie loved her grandchildren with all her heart. They were her greatest joy, and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for them. Her love for her family was unwavering and will continue to be felt for generations to come.


Tessie was preceded in death by her parents, Marzella Daniels and Raymond Davis Sr.; her sisters, Frances Anderson Lisa Brown, Barbara Henderson Betty Jenkins; her brothers, Zollie Davis and Raymond Davis Jr.; and her grandson, Nashon Cornell Muldrow.


She is survived by her children: Miche Baker, Eddie Wandick Jr., Anthony Wandick, Marzella Wandick, April Wandick, Sharniece Ward, and Curtis Ward; her siblings: Carolyn Dorrough, Patrica Davis, Ladarrell Davis, Gloria Wright, Katrice Davis, Tasha Ingram, and Charmaine Washington; Sandra Knox, Shanta Lorenzo 21 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish her memory.


Tessie’s legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
