Everett E. Meridieth Sr., 93, of Sacramento, passed away on May 20, 2026, peacefully at home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, 6100

Stockton Boulevard.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Sacramento Memorial

Lawn. Services will begin with the Flag Ceremony. Burial will follow at Sacramento Memorial

Lawn.

Everett was born in Waynesville, Illinois, to William and Edith Meridieth on May 11, 1933. He

married Stella V. Lee on December 28, 1953, in Reno, Nevada. He graduated from Sacramento

City College in 1973 with an AA degree. He worked as a gas serviceman with Pacific Gas and

Electric, retiring in 1986. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Army. He was

awarded the National Defense Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, and Good Conduct

Medal. After graduating from college, he started his own business, Mini Refrigeration and Air.

Everett is proceeded in death by his parents, Bill and Edith, seven brothers and sisters, Gene,

Bill, Joe, Carolyn, Lorraine, Marilyn, Bernice, his parent in-laws, Charlie and Eula Lee, his

brother-in-law, Chuck, sisters-in-law, Charlene and Sharon, and Number 4, Scott Schnieder.

Everett is survived by his one and only, Stella, his children, Bill and Lisa, Sharon and Rick, Everett

and Donna, Danny and Denise, 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great

grandson, 2 sisters, Pauline and Sandy, and numerous nephews and nieces.
