Our History

Sacramento Memorial Lawn was founded in 1925 by Morris S. Daggett Sr., with a funeral home and crematory added in 1955. Mr. Daggett's mission was to create place that was both comfortable and welcoming that served all faiths and customs.

Today, we are proud that Mr. Daggett's dream has been realized. Our funeral home specializes services for many faiths such as Catholic, Baptist, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Latter Day Saints, Buddhist and Protestant ceremonies, and our cemetery has many gardens designed to honor those faiths. Over the years, the Sakura Columbarium was added and then later our Cremation Garden.

Sacramento Memorial Lawn proudly staffs funeral and cemetery professionals who are committed to preserving the dignity and respect that our families have come to expect. Our funeral directors and family service consultants specialize in assisting with care both at the time of need and helping those prepare arrangements for the future.

Since 1925, Sacramento Memorial Lawn Has Been Dedicated To Helping Families Memorialize Every Life With Dignity.
