Kiu Phu, beloved mother to five children passed away on July 28, 2024. She was the heart and soul of our family. Those who knew her recognized her as someone who was very optimistic about life and cherished simple pleasures. Despite battling chronic illnesses for 20 years, she never stopped doing what she loved most—taking care of her children. Each day, she would think about the meals to prepare because she loved seeing her family gathered around the table, laughing and chatting. Most importantly, she wanted her family to be well-fed and happy. She kept herself busy throughout the day by organizing the small details at home, tidying up as she enjoyed seeing a clean and refreshing space. During her downtime, she spent her days chatting with friends and family over the phone and video calls or playing with her grandchildren. She was always there when we needed her most, offering unconditional support and love. She was a mother who willingly sacrificed her own comfort, needs, and desires for the well-being of her family. Her unwavering spirit and resilience will forever be remembered.

We invite all who knew her to join us as we say our final goodbye to this amazing mother. A funeral service will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on August 19, 2024, at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, followed by a burial at Camelia Memorial Lawn
