Obituary of Anthony Francis Andrade Jr

Anthony "Tony" F. Andrade Jr., of Sloughhouse, California, born on October 16, 1940 in Honolulu, Hawaii, to the late Priscilla and the late Anthony F. Andrade Sr., passed away at age 77 on March 9, 2018 in Folsom, California. He graduated from Hayward High School and CSUS with a B.S. in Business Administration. He was a Structural Engineer at Caltrans until leaving in 1980 for other concerns. Anthony was preceded in death by his brother, Bert Andrade; and sister, Beverly Andrade. He is survived by his son, Bill Andrade; daughters, Melissa Flickinger and Jennifer Koch; and brother, Nickolas Andrade. Tony was also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was a board member of Sacramento County Republican Central Committee, a member of California Young Republicans, and involved with the California Republican Assembly and Sacramento Republican Assembly. Tony had also ran for Sacramento County Board of Supervisors District 5 in 1976. He was very active in various Republican political activities, as well as many state initiative campaigns. Friends and family members may attend the visitation on Tuesday, March 13 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, 6100 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, California, 95824. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, March 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, 6100 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento, California, 95824.
