Obituary of Charles Wells JR

Charles “Sarge” Wells Jr., born August 9th, 1941 in Vicksburg, MS, son of the late Charles and Martha Wells, was called home after a long fight with illness March 24th 2018. Charles Wells Jr. graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Vicksburg, MS then entered the United States Air Force where he retired in 1982 as a Technical Sergeant after serving 23 years. After retirement, Charles went to work for Sprint in 1984 where he worked as a mail room supervisor. Charles is survived by his wife Bonnie Faye Johnson, married in 1965, his children Charles Wells III, Cynthia Yvonne Wells, and his grandchildren Tanisha Walker, Vanessa and Christopher McKillip, sister’s Mary Margaret Fields and Cynthia Jones, brother Harold Jones and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be held April 5th, 2018 at 2:30pm at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Rd, Dixon, CA 95620. onors the life of Charles Wells JR.
