Born on April 4, 1929 passed away on May 6, 2011 at home with her children and beloved cat Tommy. She retired from the Department of Rehabilitation almost 20 years ago. She was known in her retirement community as the lady with a cat who wears the crazy hats. She was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Charles Cox. She is survived by her brother, Lloyd Joachim; her children, Linda, Virgil, Lila, Amy (David), and Andrea; 3 grandchildren, Dylan, Wesley, Michelle. Per her wishes, there will be no services. She will be missed by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an animal shelter, feed a stray critter, or give a few bucks to a homeless person whose path you cross. We love you Mom/Grandma.
