Kevin is also survived by his father Samuel Burks Jr., brothers Dustin Burks, Barry Burks and brother-in-law John Welsch. Kevin was born, raised and spent his life in Sacramento. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1978. He had a love for life and nothing seemed to get him down for too long or get the best of him. He always picked himself up, dusted himself off and started all over again. If asked what his greatest joy and accomplishment were, there wouldn't be any hesitation. It was his two daughters, Jennifer and Melissa. They were his pride, joy, love and life. Not only will Kevin be missed by those mentioned above, but by other family members, friends and co-workers. Until we see you again, rest in peace and remember we love you! A celebretion of Kevins Life will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery on Monday, October 24, 2011 *** A private burial will be held for familly only to follow. ***
