Obituary of Manuel Inez Adame

Manuel I Adame Born in Phoenix, AZ on September 28, 1946 and entered his final rest on September 23, 2021 at the age of 74. Preceded in death by his parents Inez and Hortensia Adame. He is survived by the love of his life, Terri, wife of 54 years, and siblings Louie (Billye), Ramona, and Mark (Evelyn). He was a father to Michele and Monica (Rick) and beyond that, he played the role of a father to his grandchildren, Solomon (Maira), Xochi, Alicia, Manuel (Anna), and Alex. His 4 great-grandchildren Arriyanna, Angelo, Yulanni, and Boaz were his greatest joy. They brought him smiles and gave him energy when he was tired. He took them on countless trips and enjoyed spending quality time with each of them. He was loved dearly and adored by his whole entire family and friends. Manuel was very respected in many various communities from all walks of life. From his time in the service, to his time in Van Nuys where he counseled troubled youth, his time in Sacramento where he planted roots with his family, and to the time he gave his life to God where he attended Church of God 7th Day, he was a man who made an impact everywhere he went. He lived a life devoted to scripture, and made sure that his children knew about the salvation of Jesus Christ. After 30 years with the state of CA, he retired as a network administrator from the Dept. of CDCR, and received his Masters degree in Theological Studies much later. In doing so, he encouraged his children to further their educational goals too. He found joy working in his yard surrounded by his animals, who he cherished, until the Lord called him home. Viewing will be Monday, Oct. 11 from 4-6 PM, followed by a service from 6-8 PM. Graveside service will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 12 from 10-11:30 AM. All will be at Sacramento Memorial Lawn.
