WWII Navy Veteran. Fair Oaks resident. Born July 4, 1926 in Berkeley, CA. Passed away in his sleep February 12, 2011. Loving & faithful husband to Adele Wulbern for 60 years. Known for his wonderful baritone singing voice, enjoyed by many. Also visited & sang to nursing home residents along with extending words of encouragement to VA hospital patients & jail/prison inmates. A hard-working, brilliant & complex man. His wife & children are grateful he is finally at peace & removed from pain. Edward is survived by his wife Adele of Fair Oaks; children, Margaret Johnson (Layton) of Roseville, CA, Karen Wiens (Stan) of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Tim Wulbern (Diane) of Loomis, CA, Rebecca Brown (Steve) of Stanwood, WA; in addition to 13 grandchildren, Amy, Dan, Serena, Brian, Rachel, Justin, Lamar, Ben, Sarah, Esther, April, Desiree & Chloe. Funeral service will be held 1:00pm Monday, February 21, 2011 at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, 6100 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA.
