Tina Maria Raya passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 10th, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Sacramento on June 25, 1967 to Raul and Placida Garcia. She was the baby of the family and weighed only 3 pounds at birth.

Tina attended Sacramento High School and the California Job Corp before entering into the work force where she was proud to work for the State of California (Franchise Tax Board, Corrections and Caltrans). She retired early due to a very long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.

Tina was preceded in death by her father Raul; sister Rita and brother Raul Jr. She is survived by her loving husband Rudy of 35 years; mother Placida, brother Rocky (Terri); son Lil Rudy (April); son Aaron (Angelina), daughter Summer (Albert); adopted son/nephew Juanito and 10 grandchildren, Eli, Mia, Luke, Baby Brie, Ricky, Cyanna, Riley, Gabriel, Kash, Whoop, loving nephew Dymytryk(Jessica), loving niece Mysty, loving niece Lei Lani(Tony) and many more loving nephews, nieces and cousins

Tina always had her home open to those in need whether for a night or long term and contributed in the raising of her nephews and nieces. Tina will be missed by her very large loving family and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1 pm for October 8th at the Sacramento Memorial Lawn, 6100 Stockton Blvd, Sac., CA followed by a reception at Fruitridge Community Center, 4000 Fruitridge Road, Sac., CA.
