Obituary of Angel Marie Hood

Angel Marie Hood, 1985-2022

Today, our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our beloved sister, Angel. Her bright light and big heart left us too soon, but we will remember her warmth, love, smile, laugh, and generosity. Angel taught us some fundamental lessons while she made her journey through life. Of which the memorable was to develop a sense of impenetrable gratitude. She would say "It's a funny thing about life, once you begin to take note of the things you are grateful for, you begin to lose sight of the things that you lack". We will miss our sister, as will all those she impacted throughout her life, from family to friends.

Angel was born in Palm Springs California to Charles & Marilyn Hood on June 4, 1985. She attended Florin High school and graduated in 2003. She has worked for the State of California for over 10 years in various departments. She enjoyed dancing, cheerleading, swimming, hiking, the beach, and cooking. She also enjoyed making people laugh. 

Angel is survived by her 3 sisters: Dana, Dena, and Dorena. Her nephews Demarre & Salah. Nieces Nya & Kimora. Her grandfather Lewis, and extended family in Ohio and California. She is preceded in death by her mother Marilyn and her father Charles, as well as her grandmother June, and her grandmother Joan.Her aunt Diane and uncles Lewis & Doug.
