I remember growing up when grandma used to take care of my cousins Joseph, Aaron, and I. Those were some of the best core memories I have of growing up. I remember every time I would come into grandma’s house there was always food cooking and on the tv were always the same VCR tapes of Batman playing over and over. I also recall my Tio Alex always coming home and always taking me with him anytime he had errands to run. My favorite dish my grandma would make were her cheese enchiladas.

My grandma love to dance so when I would come over to visit she would grab my hands and say let's dance! Even thou at the time she had difficulty walking nothing could stop her from dancing. So i Would say lets dance grandma!

I remember that my grandma made the best food. She didn't buy the most expensive ingredients nor did she have fancy kitchen gadgets but it was the way she treated her food and gave it love attention that made it stand out above all else. Even thou my grandma was on a fixed income you could always come over and she would fix you a meal that would leave you full and nourished.
