Obituary of Adrian Perez
Adrian Perez passed away on October 25 th at the age of 68 in Sacramento, CA.
A memorial event in honor of Adrian Perez will be on Saturday, November 30th, at Camp Pollock in Sacramento, CA. The memorial event will be from 1pm – 5pm.
Adrian Perez was born in Raymondville, Texas to Jose and Mercedes Perez on September 8th, 1956. The family moved to California where Adrian attended Patterson High school, attended CSU: Chico and CSU: Stanislaus where he graduated with a degree in Political Science. He briefly lived and worked in San Francisco for the California DMV while living in the Panhandle. Adrian moved to Sacramento to continue his State career with the CHP, California Lotto, and the California State Water Resources Control Board. It was in Sacramento where he met and married Guillermina Contreras and had 5 children. Adrian retired from State service in 2007 to pursue personal projects that would benefit the community of Sacramento for Latinos. Adrian became a journalist, a publisher, a consultant, a CEO, a mentor, and helped Guillermina with founding the Vida De Oro Foundation.
Adrian Perez is preceded by his wife, Guillermina Perez, children; Luis Perez, Adrian Salvador Perez, Ricardo Joel Perez, Jonathan Edward Perez, and Cecelia Amanda Perez; and grandchildren; Gabriel Perez, Marcus Francisco Najar Perez, and Aurora Dorthy Lynn
