Obituary of Jackalyn Marie Larsen

Jackalyn Marie Larsen, 'Jacki', was born in Sacramento on March 7, 1950. She passed on October 30, 2012, into the loving arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ. She grew up attending local schools and graduated from CSUS in Computer Science and Technology. She retired from working at the bakery after 23 years. Her hobbies included her nieces and nephews, treating them as if they were her own, knitting many afghans and sweaters, sewing baby blankets, singing and playing the piano. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, holding numerous positions. She taught early morning seminary for several years. She is survived by her parents, Jack and Evelyn, and two sisters, Chris (John) Balmforth and Carol (Lorin) Powell. Her nieces and nephews include Amy, Gareth, David, Nathan, Emily, Megan, Rachel and Braden and her 13 great-nieces and nephews. Jacki also leaves behind many treasured friends.
