Obituary of Blas R Rojo

Pastor Blas Rojo passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on July 12, 2019. He was born in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico on September 17, 1946. Survived by wife, Dora B. Rojo, and two sons, Israel (Isaura) and Gabriel (Mariana), and four grandchildren, Devanie, Alizahlee, Annexie, and Oziah Rojo. Blas came to the United States at the age of 15. He was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ on August 4th, 1962. In 1965, he became a deacon. In 1966, he served in the US Army. In 1969, he became an ordained minister. In 1980, he became a pastor of the United Apostolic Church in Sacramento, where he served for 40 years. In 1988, he became a bishop of the United Apostolic Church organization and he served for 16 years. Pastor Blas Rojo was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and, – to many of us – a spiritual father. "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing."
