Obituary of Walter Nobuo Matsuoka

Passed on March 1, 2012. He was 85. Born in Walnut Grove, of Tomio "Harry" and Juyo Matsuoka, he was preceded in death by his siblings Bessie, Toshio, Yoshio, Sho and David. He is survived by his wife Kazuko, son Kent and sister Rose. A veteran of the Korean War, he was active in the community, volunteering with the Nisei VFW Post 8985, Sacramento Japanese Methodist Church and Boy Scout Troop 250. A memorial service will be held at SJUMC on Sunday, March 11 at 4pm
