Obituary of Andrew J. Stokes

Born March 21, 1930, on Mare Island - the old Naval shipyard- in Vallejo, California, to parents James and Ruby Stokes. He attended C.K. McClatchy High School where he met his 1st wife Gloria. They were married 22 years before her death in 1982. He was then reunited with a friend, Jean Conrad, and they were married in 1983. Jean passed away 20 years later, leaving him heartbroken again. Andrew was a retired machinist who loved to travel the world, but his favorite place was always home. He passed away on his birthday, March 21, 2014 in Sacramento, CA. He is survived by his children Ellen Rodrigues, Davi Rodrigues, Bonnie Domeny, and Cairn Rodrigues. Per his request, no services will be held. In honor of his love for animals, please make donations in his memory to the SPCA, in lieu of flowers.
