Born September 14, 1925 in Sacramento, California to parents Guy M. Keer and Violet Pereira. Earl passed away on August 25, 2010 in Elk Grove, California after 84 years as a resident of Sacramento County. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Guy Keer, and sister Rilda Sheaffer, Earl is survived by his beloved wife Marjorie; daughters Sharon Berry and Debra Wilkins; grandchildren Stephanie, Stephen, and Douglas Berry, Jennifer Wilkins, and Matthew Spurlock; great-grandchildren Alexis and Audrey Berry, and Evan Wilkins; brother Jim Howard, and sisters Freddie Eskildson and Hope Wilson. Earl served his country with the United States Navy as an electrician for 3 years while stationed in the South Pacific. On Valentines Day in 1946, Earl married the love of his life, Marjorie L. Whipple. He went on to dedicate the next 38 years of his life as a supervisor for the City of Sacramento Water Department. Due to his service during WWII, the Sacramento County Office of Education presented Earl with an Honorary High School diploma in 2001. A proud Husband, father, and friend, Earl will be dearly missed. A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 31, from 4:00-8:00pm with Funeral Services on Wednesday, September 1, at 11:00am, both at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, 6100 Stockton Blvd.
