Joined her late husband, Aubrey LaVelle Shively, in Eternal Rest on February 25, 2012. Ruth is survived by her son, Howard A. Shively of Plumas Lake, CA, and her daughter, Claudia M. Jimenez of Sacramento, CA. Ruth has three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Ruth was born in Marshfield, OR, now Coos Bay, September 19, 1920. Her family moved to Sacramento, CA when she was about four years old. She joined the First United Methodist Church, at 21st and J Streets, when she was about six years old, remaining active until recently. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service being held on March 10, 2012 at 11:00am at First United Methodist Church, 21st & J streets, Sacramento. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the UC Davis MIND Institute, 2825 50th Street, Sacramento, CA 95817
