Passed away on March 12, 2010 at the age of 86. A lifelong resident of Sacramento. Preceded in death by his wife, Ella and his siblings, brothers Mitsuru and David (Takeshi) and his sister Ruth (Sachiko). Survived by his son Andrew and daughter Kaylene (Chieko). He's also leaving behind a nephew and niece and their families. A graduate of UC Berkeley and a Civil Engineer for the State of California. During the Second World War, he and his family were interned at Tule Lake. After the war he served in Occupied Japan in Military Intelligence. He had a peaceful retired life with many varied interests. He will be deeply missed. A Memorial Service will be conducted by the Sacramento Branch of Tensho-kotai-jingu-kyo at 1316 T St, Sacramento on Sat., March 27 at 3pm. Limited seating and accessibility. As per his request, please no flowers or monetary donations.
