Woodruff (Woodie) Sommers passed away peacefully after reaching his goal of 100 years. He was the youngest of 16 children born to Ernest & Rosetta Sommers in Montpelier Idaho. Woodie served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He operated Woodie's Barber Shop in Sacramento for 72 years. Woodie served the Lord in many callings as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survived by his wife, Arline, Daughter Kathy (Rick), 4 grandchildren, Josh, Justin(Chanda), Jeremy, Ashley (Sean), 2 great grandsons, Aidan & Bannock. Memorial Service April 10 at 11 a.m. LDS Chapel,1275 Green Valley Rd,El Dorado Hills,CA
