Born in Del Rey, CA and passed away peacefully of heart failure. Preceded in death by husband, Herbert Nakao; mother, Hatsune Kiyomura; father, Tsunehiko Makita; sister, Lily Yamada; brother-in-law, Walter Yamada; sister, Mary Nishi; brother-in-law, Mits Nishi. Survived by son, Roger Nakao. Retired from the State of California after 24 years of service. Memorial services will be conducted at the Florin Buddhist Church, 7235 Pritchard Road, Sat. Dec. 17, 2011 at 3:00 pm.
