Obituary of Mary G. Albalos

Mary Gloria Trujillo was the sixth of eleven children born to Emilia Giron and Emilio Trujillo in the small town of Salida, Colorado. Growing up in Colorado were great memories she beheld of her older brother Herrmiguildo and Uncle Evaristo Trujillo, and going to baseball games with her sisters Porfilia and Virginia. As a teen, Mary moved to Texas to help her eldest sister Mary Conception. Then came to California in her early 20's to visit and work with sister Susie Gonzales in a hotel, still standing in Old Sacramento. Susie introduced her to Leonard Albalos who she later married on September 6, 1953. Together they became the proud parents of Lee Albalos, Norma Albalos, Frank Albalos, and Lolita Albalos. Mary joined in eternity her late husband Leo and eldest daughter Norma. She leaves behind Leo Jr. (Lee), Frank, Lolita, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Additionally, Mary leaves behind the last sibling, her sister Virginia Giron and nieces, Loretta Serna, Irene Martinez, Inez Avalos, and Frances Giron, and nephews, Michael Trujillo, Ruben Gonzales and Charles Trujill, along with many relatives and friends.
