Shanti L. Mehta passed away at his home in Elk Grove on September 25, 2013. He is survived by his children Neeru Mehta, Tony Mehta, Anjali Herke, Simi Cruz, & Vijay Mehta, and his grandchildren Aneesha, Adam, Ashwin, Kyle, Elise, & Quinn, as well as numerous relatives and friends. He traveled the world on business, visiting every continent but Antarctica. Shanti was an avid sports fan, rooting especially for the San Francisco 49er's and the SF Giants. He will be missed.
