Masaru "Massy" Ohara passed away at age 74 years old on May 29, 2012 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by parents Atsumu and Shigeko Ohara, sister Peggy Sasaki and brother Jerry Ohara. He is survived by brothers Shig Ohara (Peggy), Art Ohara (Amy), Tosh Ohara, and sisters Ginny Okamoto (Mitch), Connie Kato (Leland) and many nieces and nephews. A private memorial was held.
