James D. Button passed away peacefully at his home at Sacramento on September 1, 2016 at the age of 96. He is survived by his wife for 72 years, Lillie Bell; his sister Beulah Daniels of Orland, CA; his son James Jr. of Yerington, NV; four daughters; Sheila, Kathyrn, Kristine and Susan. 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Volunteered at Senior Gleaners; enjoyed tinkering with automobiles; and always loved a good joke. Services will be held at noon on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, 6100 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento.
