I met Robert many years ago (80's) when we worked at Builder's Emporium in W. Sac. We used to hang out in the break room and I recall that he was funny and kind. He also liked to pull pranks and one night after closing, I found my VW Rabbit moved to a different spot in the parking lot! Needless to say, he left an impression and will be missed by many. Rest In Peace, Robert.

Bob brought peace and good-will to the sometimes hectic DWR workplace; and when things got a little tense Bob would insert his humor or something positive; or change the subject to "Wish I was In Hawaii"... This fine gentleman will be missed by many. God Bless him.

Bob was a great guy - all around. His smile, positive attitude and quick come back comments always brightened our day. He will be missed and remembered with warmth and friendship. He had such a broad range of friends and people that appreciated him, that his impact will continue to generate ripples far reaching. Our prayers and thoughts are with you!

There is an important thread amongst all DWR folk; Bob was simply a kind, humor-filled, and thoughtful man. Just his presence in the room would lift everyone's mood. And he was so proud of his sons, the stories he would tell as he beamed just warmed your heart. My heart breaks for Bob's family and for every person who knew Bob. But I am especially sad for every person who never met Bob and experienced his wonderfully warm and good-natured soul. The world would be such a better place if more of us could emulate Bob's presence and kindness. May Bob's sons carry his memory fondly and share a similar warmness with others.

Bob we all here are going to miss you, and your humor. I remember those days when there used to be a pin drop silence on our floor, you will say something which used to be always very funny, and then everyone starts to laugh even though they all were sitting in their cubicles. Bob always had a positive attitude. RIP.

I will always remember Bob fondly. I worked with Bob as a student assistant in the early 2000's and occasionally spoke with him through the years as I moved around within DWR. He was so easy going and always put a smile on my face. I'll miss seeing him waiting on the curb at the corner of 9th and Ost waiting for his ride after work. Rest in peace.

Bob was a co-worker and friend I had the pleasure of knowing and working with for 30 years. He was the kindest funniest guy I knew. His humor and smiling face leaves a huge hole in the hearts of everyone that knew him.
