Obituary of Augustine Rodriguez Adame

A migrant farm worker who moved to Sacramento with his new bride Concha Contreras in 1948. A lifetime Minister and member of the Church of God, 7th Day, who loved to sing and praise the Lord with our church family and play his guitar, especially for birthdays. A successful Electrician and member of IBEW Local 340 for 35 years. Survived by his wife of 66 years, siblings Santos, Antonia, Henry, and 11 children, John (Doris), Grace Daniel (Bob), Edward (Teresa), Martha Taylor (Barney), Elizabeth Stone (Nehemiah), Daniel, Rosie (Federico), Mike, Gene, Julie Kintz (Dan), and Vicky Cornell (Chance). Preceded in death by his eldest daughter Alice Adame. A loving grandfather of 39 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and loving brethren. A viewing will be held Monday May 21, 4:00-8:00 pm, service Tuesday, May 22, 11:00 am, at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, 6100 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento. A reception will follow @ Jose Rizal Community Ctr, 7320 Florin Mall Dr., Sacramento, CA
