Ita M. EVANS EVANS, Ita M. Born October 17, 1920 in Anaconda, Montana, she passed away June 8, 2010 in Carmichael, California where she lived for 60 years. Preceded in death by her husband Griffith Evans, her parents, 4 sisters, and 1 brother, Ita is survived by her brothers Daniel Mitchell of St. Joseph, MO, Theodore Mitchell of Carmichael, CA, and step-son Charles Evans of Winnemucca, NV. Ita worked as a riveter on the shipyards during WWII before devoting 25 years at Campbell's Soup Company. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of animals. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to a charity of your choice.
