Obituary of William Edward Brink

On October 11th, 2019, Sadly, William “Bill” Edward Brink passed away with family by his side. Bill (fondly known as “Billy Jack”) was born January 10th, 1945 to Mr. Richard Ned Brink and Mrs. Gladys Otelia Brink in Sacramento Ca. He grew up near Curtis park with his siblings, Lois and Bob. As a child, he played in little league. He attended CK McClatchy High School and graduated in 1964. Bill has always been a sports enthusiast! He liked to bowl occasionally when he was younger and dabbled into golf a little, too. But his main passion was watching his San Francisco 49ers! He enjoyed trips to Fort Bragg and fishing with his uncle as a child and continued to go as an adult. He was able to make a few trips within the last couple of years! Bill also loved going to the casino! He’s best known for his favorite game Black Jack (hence Billy Jack)! He had such a big family/friends that always doted on him, as well as he did in return. He was a devoted Husband and Father and he loved spoiling his Grandchildren! He had such a big heart and rarely said NO! He will be missed dearly, but always in our hearts. Bill worked in the painting industry for years. He eventually retired from Warehouse Paint. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Olivia Vasquez, brother, Robert, daughters, Julie Baldwin, Erin Hooks (Ron), Kimberley Crumpacker (Doug) and Anica Ortez. Along with multiple grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends. There will be a family viewing on Friday, October 18th from 2-3pm in the Lotus Chapel at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, 6100 Stockton Blvd. Sacramento, CA. 95824 A celebration of life is to follow at Bill’s home 5955 Vista ave.
