Gwendolyn Yvonne Jefferson peacefully passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015 in Lompoc, CA. Born on September 27, 1958 in Hope, AR, she spent 23 years in the United States Air Force and lived all over the world before settling in Lompoc. Gwen was especially known for her passionate service to her community. She served on several boards at her church and was a volunteer for organizations that assisted people in need. She is survived by her parents Joe and Georgia; sisters Latonya and Lori; brother Myron; niece Ann; great-nephew Domonic; family friends Jeffrey and Maurice; canine companion Hewston and a host of friends. She is predeceased by her sister Regina, her grandmother Annie and canine companion Evie.
