Mary Gomez, 86 years old, of Sacramento, California, passed away on August 23, 2020. Mary was born on Fort Bliss Army Post, El Paso, Texas on June 26, 1934. Mary worked as a field worker, hotel room cleaner, and was a devoted housewife and mother. Mary is survived by her older sister Celia Abela, two younger brothers George Gomez and Joe Gomez, 6 children, 21 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren . 2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
