Healing strength, warm memories and much love, outwards to all of you.
I am really saddened by Uncle Bob's passing. He truly was a kind, gentle-man.
As a child I used to love his visits. He was so tall and stately like a Redwood Tree. So far up there! He would swoop me up, so my head would touch the sky, laugh with me, then give me the best squeezes. He had a way of making me feel accepted, loved and safe... always.
As time moved along, my opportunities to visit Uncle Bob were fewer, but truly pleasant. He was so full of spirit. He was compassionate and kind to my kids and theirs too, when they were present, or he would sincerely inquire of their wellbeing, when they werent present. He loved family.
In 2018, my son Shane's home caught fire and his family lost everything. Uncle Bob and Aunt Edith, were among the first to step up with kindness and an unexpected, but much appreciated gift, to help my son and his family begin the restoration of their life. A true blessing.
He was a good soul and I can only hope that when it's time for me to leave this life plane, my uncle will be among those, who embrace me and welcome me home.
Much Love to All of You.
