I am so glad that Denny took his family to Omaha back in the 2000's to show them his Nebraska roots. He brought his family & camper and camped out in our yard for a week or so while we worked our farm fields. It was the first time I remember meeting him and he made us feel at ease while they stayed. He introduced us to our "California family" while they learned about their "Nebraska family". Now in hind sight, I see that he had a gift for "bridging the gaps" in peoples lives. He was a remarkable man.
